Tom had the afternoon off today so we decided to do something fun that we have been wanting to do for awhile, go to the zoo! Bethany loves all kinds of animals and we were sure that she would have a blast.
Unfortunately at the first exhibit there was a very angry lemur that scared our little lady to the point that we thought the day might be ruined. The only animals she was interested in after that (as in not scream her head off) were the reptiles and the birds.

Once we got to the petting zoo Bethany warmed back up to her furry friends.
Sorry Bethany, I know you liked her but you will not be getting a pig for your birthday tomorrow. ;)
What a great way to spend a free afternoon...can't believe it's been a whole year since we were anxiously waiting for the "phone call"...Happy Birthday Dear Bethany love you so very very much!
