10 Months

Bethany has officially reached the double digit months! Whoohoo, what a big girl she is! So much has happened this month that it is hard to keep track of everything. I had to look back at my 9 month post for her to remind myself where she was.  Wow, she wasn't even really crawling last month!

So this month Bethany has gotten off her tummy and she is crawling all over. She has developed a very unique and entertaining crawl that consists of two hands, one knee, and one foot. It's pretty funny to watch, I should probably get a video of it so you all can enjoy it. Bethany has also started cruising along our furniture and she has become quite good  at transferring her weight from the couch over to the coffee table. Several times she has even let go all together and kept her balance for a second or two. Every day her balance is getting better and better. Just a few days ago she started pushing her new "walking" toy across the room. It seems that she may not be all that far from walking on her own.

Of course not all of Bethany's new tricks are exciting. Since learning to sign "more" and "all done" Bethany had figured out she can tell us she is "all done" with a food she doesn't want but she wants "more" of something else. My little veggie eater has definitely become more picky this month.
Such is life. I guess I should learn now that our child has her own will and I cannot control her.
