It appears that Bethany has grown just enough in the last week because last night we had a successful johnny jumper! Pretty much we think she is the cutest baby to ever grace a johnny jump up. We realize we may be a little biased but hope you enjoy the video anyway.

We Have a Jumper!
Last week we pulled out the Johnny Jump up to see if Bethany was ready for it. She has been bouncing/jumping in her exersaucer quite a bit lately so we thought she might do okay in the JJU. Unfortunately she wasn't quite tall enough last week. Our doorways are a little taller than the average doorway so we couldn't get the seat close enough to the floor for Bethany to reach both her feet to the ground. As a result little Beth was doing perpetual pirouettes on the one foot that was touching the floor. In all honesty it was pretty cute but we took her out as to keep her from getting too dizzy.

Cute. She will be your running partner before you know it. Remember her uncle Joe in his johnny jump up.
ReplyDeleteI too was remembering Uncle Joe in his JJU as I watched this! She has some good jumping genes in her. Thanks for sharing, Ashli.

If she's going to compete with her Uncle Joe, Papa Ralph is going to have to do the same thing to Bethany's JJU that he did to Joe's...add an extra spring...and not just a little spring, it was a heavy duty foot long spring (who knows where he got it?)that definitely added some jumping power!
ReplyDeleteWe called it a julie jump up with Erin. She loved that thing.
