This past weekend my best friend, Julie, and her kiddos were able to stop by for a quick visit. They were on their way back to Michigan after visiting family in Idaho and Wyoming, so Colorado Springs wasn't too far out of the way.
Julie came to Texas shortly after Bethany was born, but this was the first time that our kids met and were able to play together. Hopefully some day both our families will be back in the NW and we'll get to see each other more than every two years.
It was so much fun getting them all together. Saturday we went to Garden of the Gods, since it was Labor Day Weekend there were a ton of people there and quite a few rock climbers. The kids loved watching the climbers scale the rocks.
Obviously we had a hard time getting all the kids to look at the camera at the same time.
Bethany loved playing with Kennadie and Jaxson, but I think baby Keilie was by far her favorite. She was constantly wanting to "keese" the baby. I'm holding out hope that this is a sign her transition to big sister will be smooth.
