Renaissance Festival

Tom's schedule has slowed down a little for the next few weeks so we took advantage of his extra time today and went to the Renaissance Festival in Larkspur. According to the website Larkspur has hosted this ancient party for 38 years every summer.

Waiting for the gates to open.
We went to the bag pipe show, it was a lot of fun and really entertaining.
Bethany LOVED the bag pipes, in fact I would say it rivaled Sesame Street. Look at that face, nothing was going to take her attention off of the silly Scots!
Next we took in the jousting tournament. We thought Bethany would get a kick out of the horses, but really after eating her sausage on a stick she was ready to go.

We left early and took her to the pony ride. Of course she loved the pony, and her Prince Charming was by her side the whole time to make sure she didn't fall off.

Stopped at the petting zoo; calves, rabbits, pigs, sheep, and even a few musk ox. Bethany was in heaven.
This is Bethany watching other kids ride the elephant. Honestly, we were willing to pay the four dollars a piece for her and Tom to ride it, but we were not willing to wait in line for an hour. It's okay though, she has no idea what she missed out on and she had a great time just watching.
Occasionally I remember to snap a picture with both us.

 Bethany's first funnel cake. Yum!
There were so many other things to do, but it was starting to get really crowded and Bethany wasn't up for sitting through any of comedy shows. So we had a nice lady take our family picture and then headed out.

For those of you who are dying to see the baby boy bump, here he is in all his 27 week glory.
