The front page of this morning's paper brought me to almost immediate tears. The local 116th unit here in Post Falls deployed yesterday. They will spend 2 months in Mississippi training before deploying to Iraq for 10 months. This picture reminded me of how fortunate I am that my husband is not leaving at this time but served as a reminder that he is not immune to deployment and someday this could be my little boy saying goodbye to his daddy.
Please remember all the men and women who are continuing to be deployed despite the fact that we have been told that our troops are coming home. Yes, it is safer than it has been in Iraq but that does not mean that our soldiers are out of harms way. Continue to keep them in your prayers.
So sad, so let's not think about that! Wow! You're new place looks awesome. I'm so happy you've found something that seems to be working out well. For some reason I'm also really sad that you guys have left Lewiston. It's like now that chapter of my life, our lives is really over. I'm so thankful we both ended up there together!
