I had intended to send out Christmas cards with a cute family picture and it has yet to happen. I may still get around to it, after all I want to support USPS. Just in case I don't, here is the picture that you all would have gotten with our "Top Ten" of the year.
The Koehler’s Top 10 for 2011
1. The most obvious, Bethany Loreen joined our family on Sept. 27th.
Already we cannot believe how she has changed our lives.
2. We moved to San Antonio this past August so Tom could attend the military’s Physician Assistant school. We are living on Ft. Sam Houston.
3. We had our “Babymoon”. We went on a Caribbean Cruise in May. We ported out of Ft. Lauderdale so Tom got to show Ashli where he grew up.
4. In the midst of our move this summer we celebrated our 4th anniversary.
5. Tom got to take a 4-wheeling trip down to St. Anthony sand dunes with his brother and friend Ian.
6. Ashli got to take 6 week old Bethany to Missouri and then up to the NW to meet aunts, uncles, grandparents, and great-grandparents. What a blessing that they all got to meet our sweet child while she was still tiny.
7. We survived the scorching hot summer in San Antonio and are now enjoying the moderated winter. No shoveling snow this year!
8. Ashli’s friend, Julie, rode with her on the move down to Texas. It was great to spend so much time with a good friend. Poor Tom had to drive by himself. J
9. Tom has finshed his first semester of PA school. This time next year he should be finishing up the didactic portion of school and we will be moving to another base for the clinical portion of school.
10. We get to go home for Christmas! Tom gets two weeks off and we are looking forward to spending that time with our family in the NW.
